Even though I agree with what you're saying, I think there's an underlying message in your post of "all cannibals are serial killers waiting to strike," which I find a tad offensive.

They aren't serial killers waiting to strike, no. I'm sure there are many people who want to eat people but go their whole life without every doing it. I'm sure they'd benefit from this too, but that's pretty irrelevant to me because I'm not trying to defend cannibalism. What I am defending is the idea of a place for them to go to do their thing where they don't harm anyone. So the logical targets of my defense would be the people who ARE serial killers waiting to happen unless they have an alternative.
