Wow; someone who thinks like me, I've always liked the idea of Stranger hunting Abe for money.
But why do you find the idea of Abe and Stranger teaming up as buddies unsettling? I think it would be a little strange but also kinda cool.
If Stranger did try and retrieve Abe's bounty though; it would have to take place before the events of SW, otherwise it wouldn't work.
It would make an interesting game though.

Like I said in an earlier post, it would most likely have been earlier, before the events of SW.
It would be interesting to see Stranger's reaction to attemptive possession as well. How strongminded is he?

At the end of SW Stranger got a new mission, to protect the Mongo River for the Grubbs. So he isn't going to run all over Mudos trying to bag bounties. Abe and Munch might meet Stranger later as they have some unfinished business to do at the Mongo river, they have to hatch Munch's eggs.

Another counter-argument indeed. Now Munch hatching eggs in Mongo river is something I'd quite like to see. That would be worthy of a crossover indeed.
