Spider growled as he followed the Orkhids scent trail, he was burning with fury. He felt as though a part of him was literaly ripped from him. Though he had only been a part of the village for a short time, he saw the village as his home, and the villagers his family. For a brief moment, he felt grief, grief for the family he failed to protect. But that grief quickly turned back into anger.
I will not rest until they are all DEAD! he thought, his growl startling some nearby birds, I will ripped them apart limb by limb, piece by piece until there is so little left of their caresses that even birds wont get a satisifing meal from it!
He was suddenly stopped in his tracks by an unseen force and pushed to the ground.
//Calm thy self. This type of rage will only lead thee to more misry.\\ the voice said sternly.
But they must pay fer what they have done! Spider protested.
//Aye they do my kin. But to kill just for revenage will only corrupt thy soul and if thee rush after them, thee will only get thyself killed. And thee cannot save the village if thou art dead.\\
Yer right... Spider thought with a sigh, his emotions returning to grief, I have suffered so much in my life, why der things like this keep happening when I finally find happiness?
//Tis the way of life, kin. No one goes through life without some hardship and pain. Some, like thee, just have more of it then others.\\
But why?
//Even I do not know my kin. I do not blame thee for wanting revenage, for it is one of the traits of thy's third part. It is the same with thy's need to protect and aid others.\\

Spider thought long and hard. Finally he said:
"Ter avenge those they have harmed and killed. Ter prevent them from hurtin' anymore innocents. They are an evil plight that needs ter be hunted down and destroyed!"
//Excellent. Now...what is thy's purpose?\\
The answer came instantly to him.
"Ter guide and help those that need it! Ter protect those that need protectin' at all costs, even if I have ter give my own life!"
//Honor, virtue, loyality, selflessness, bravery and courage. Those are some of the traits of thy's third part. . Thee are almost awakened, my kin. Thee will become aware of what thy's third part very soon....as long as thee remember thy's purpose and reasons for destroying evil. For if thee forget...thou will be lost forever.\\
He felt the voice leave him then and he could move again. He stood up and continued to follow the trail, his mind clear, his heart and soul pure, and knowing his purpose.....
