(ooc: how did I know you were going to do something like that? hehe must be womens intution *grin*)
Spider paced in the village center later that day thinking.
What the frag am I goin' ter der? he thought, If I don' leave, more innocents will be hurt. If I DO leave, what's ter say they won't hurt them anyway? He let out a low growl in frustation. Dammit! Why is it every single time somethin' good goes fer me fer once somethin' like THIS happens! He felt so angry that he wanted to break something, but he kept himself in check, keeping it within himself.
//Holding in thy's emotions is not good for thee.\\ a familiar voice said.
"Then what am I supposed ter der?" Spider said quietly, so the folk around him didn't start thinking he was going crazy by talking to himself.
//Much rage is contained within thee, why don't thee release it on those thou hate the most?\\
"Believe me I want ter."
//Then why don't thee?\\
"How?"
//The same way thou have always hunted thy's prey.\\
"I think I know what yer mean."
//They have not seen thy's violent side yet. Why don't thee show them it?\\ There was a hint of mischievousness in the voice.
"I think I will." Spider grinned. The voice was gone now, but it didn't matter, he had an idea.
He said ter leave the village...but he didn't say how far away ter stay. Spider went to go see the Mayor....
A little while later Spider came out of office with the Major.
"It's too bad you have to go so suddenly Spider." the Major said.
"Same here," Spider said, "I really like this place. But I can't stay in one place ter long. Trouble always seem ter follow me and I don' want innocent folk ter get hurt because of me."
"Like what happened earlier today?"
"Yes...things like that. We were lucky this time. I doubt we would be next time. So it's best that I go before the 'next time' happens."
"Very well, I wish you luck my friend. You will always be welcomed here, no matter what happens."
"Ta Mayor. I will miss yer, all of yer." Spider turned away then and, with a final wave of goodbye, he ran off into the forest....
