Cyrus awoke in the morning feeling disapointed that the Mayor had stood upto him and never even heard his deal out. Corrack approached with a smile on his face.
Cyrus: "I thought you would be happy he turned down my offer...its your plan now!"
Corrack: "Ahhhh yes. The torment begins"
Corrack laughed these words. He loved torturing people mentally, but didn't care for the physical side of it. Too bloody and Gory he had once said.
Corrack equipped himself with a knife and nothing more and turned around. Only stopping to tell Cyrus to hurry up.
Soon the plan was set, everybody was in position and everybody knew their parts and what to do if anything went wrong.
Corrack: "Come...let plan B come into play"
He moved forwards towards the village. He had secretly hoped Cyrus' plan to convert the Mayor would fail, so he could personally do this sick act. He got to the point were it was half way to the village and half way to the wood before stopping and collapsing. He made sure there were kids around at the time though...as he dropped he lie still, trying not to breathe but instead feel the vibrations of the children. Finally he heard one talking...and walking...towards him.
Child #1: "I-is it dead?"
The childs voice was trembling as it slowly sneaked towards the motionless Corrack. The second child with the first stayed quiet and only mumbled. There 2 little Mudokon children stood, over the supposedly dead Corrack.
Corrack: "H-Help me...please, come...come and help me up child"
The children jumped as Corrack whispered this in a raspy voice. But soon one of them obliged and bent down to help him up. Soon Corrack was on his knees, eye to eye with the little child.
Corrack: "My-My-My we are strong arn't we. Tell me little girl, how old are you?"
He tried to seem friendly and calming so the children would not scream for help.
Child #1: "I'm 8 yrs old...how old are you, sir?"
The child asked in a intrigued tone and spoke very politly.
Corrack: "I'm older than you can possibly imagine"
He smiled these words and stroked the childs soft feather pony tail, which was rested on her shoulder. The 2nd child stayed were he was and dared not move.
Child #2: "Tisse, we should go home now...our mothers will be waiting"
Corrack: "You have a pretty name. Where you named after anyone?"
Tisse smiled and replied with no. Before turning to face her friend, that is when Corrack struck. He grabbed the child by the waist and held her close to him. Before backflipping once to get closer to the forest. Tisse screamed and so did her little friend. He ran screaming into the village, calling for help. Villagers ran to where the child pointed and saw Corrack holding her. Laughing with glee, before shouting "NOW!"
Guns fired at the feet of the Mudokons. This startled them and caused them to run back to the village, screaming for somebody else to help. Thats when Spider appeared, he appeared at the back but then made his way to the front and approaced the forest as fast as he could. Curiously the shots were not fired at him, but centered at his Mudokon friends in the village. He ran to where he had seen Corrack disapear and crashed through the forests thick branches and vines. He came to a clearing were he saw to figures standing either side of the child just on the edge of a cliff. A vine was wrapped around her waist and tied to a nearby rock, so she could not run away. For extra precaution they held weapons to the childs head and torso.
Spider: "What do yer think yer doing?"
Cyrus: "God...how common you speak, you realise that. Anyway...what are we doing...now, now, now. Oh yes, thats it...we are holding this child hostage!"
Cyrus pushed the gun closer to the crying childs soft green skin and sniggered. Corrack was stood on the other side of the child pointing a knife to the side of her body.
Spider: *Growls* "Let the child go and i wont come looking for yer when i get her back..."
Cyrus: "Now...i am scared. No, really i am. But you see...like Mr Mayor...or whatever he is called. You aren't listeining to our bargain either. If he listened i wouldn't have this little girl and you wouldn't be going through this."
Spider: "What do yer want with me?"
Corrack: "We want you...to leave the village. Firstly we wanted you to join us...but the Mayor screwed that plan up, so now its simply...LEAVE!"
Corrack hissed these words and grasped the knife tighter.
Spider: "And if i dont?"
Corrack: "This will happen!"
Corrack put his un-armed hand on the childs chest and pushed her backwards. The little girl staggered abit and then regained her balance, rocks fell and stumbled and then landed into the water below and go swept over the waterfall. The water fall was very high and no-one had ever been swept away and survived. At the bottom of the waterfall was a little pool and a massive jungle. Only skilled hunters went down there, but sometimes even they got killed.
Corrack: "Obviously she will actually fall next time...and well...DIE!"
Corrack chuckled these words and watched Spider carefully.
Spider: "Ok..i'll go. Just let the little girl go, ok? Just let her go!"
Cyrus smiled and did what Corrack did at first. But this time actually pushed her so she fell. Her scream was shrill as she slowly fell backwards.
Spider: "Noooooooooooooooooooo!"
Spider dashed forwards to try and grab her. While Corrack and Cyrus sped off in different directions laughing.
Corrack: "This is a warning Spider...leave...or have you world crumble around you like never before!"
The vine around the little girl tightened and flung her into the rocks, grazing her arm.
Tisse: "Help me...Spider...please!!"
Spider grabbed hold of the vine and tugged the child up the cliff rocks. As soon as she was in arms reach he stretched over and grabbed her, pulling her back up and clutching her tight. Thoughts ran through his head...horrible thoughts, thoughts like "What would they do to me if she died?" and "Should i stay and risk deaths of children!" His thoughts were disturbed when half the village of Pyke crashed through the forest to see Spider holding the child. They were relieved that Tisse had been saved...but Spider knew there was worse yet to come...
