MGS 1.
You fight, but don't kill, Vulcan Raven outside the tank hangar, then go into the place with the electric floor in search of Dr. Emmerich. You eventually locate Emmerich, who is being attacked by a "Cyborg Ninja". After being challenged to a fight by the ninja, you eventually discover weapons are of no use against his exoskeleton.
EDIT: I found another copy of MGS3: Subsistance in a shop today. It was $150 this time. ($100 last time I saw it)
