I would doubt that Hand of Odd was still in the pipeline... but why on earth would he mention it? Being ambiguous about deadlines is one thing, but I can't imagine they would make a comment like that a week before the announcement unless it had some relevance to what they are doing.

There have been two references to
Hand of Odd up to now, it's a bit much for a game that's supposed to be dead. It would just be cruel to teach new oddworld fans about a game that has no chances of seeing the light of day at all. So what do you guys think?
On the other hand HoO doesn't seem to be a project that can be done in a year of time.
BTW : I asked MunchGabbit about it but I had no reply
