This is probably unrelated to the logo but LIJI, if you remember well enough, I know that on every version of AO on the PC Abe faces to the left - I think it might be reversed though on some versions like it is on the PS1:

That's very interesting! Obviously I can't remember something as Abe's direction from 10 years ago, but it might be so. And yes, messing with the lvls is one of the reasons I'd love to get my hands on this version.
