It doesn't matter what resolution you're running your desktop at because it will always maximise the game at 640x480 resolution. The best screen aspect ratio to have is 4:9.

i have both gamess on my psp and when i first put them on the screen was stretched, then i just did some adjusting and its fine now, not stretched, nor hidden above the screen.
