I liked the first Gears, it was kinda fun, and slow-paced.
Never bothered with the second though.

Same here, but I am sure I only enjoyed the first Gears because I played it Co-Op. Same thing with Halo. I only play Halo Co-Op with my cousin.
I have a hard time getting into those type of games when I'm by myself.
