I only got partway through the Fate scenario. I lost interest because at the time I was impatient and wanted Unlimited Blade Works awesomeness.

I say go for F/SN all the way first. Fate is pretty boring. But the awesomeness of Unlimited Blade Works and grand story of Heaven's Feel make it worth it.
