Vera watched as the Slig ripped an opening in the fence. She turned to Hawk and said in Scrab talk, "It's okay now. You can leave." She thought for a while, then added, "Can I come with you? The other Sligs are less likely to attack any of us if we're in a group." She then looked at Maverick. "You can come with me, if you want. I'm sure that you're as wanted as I am, now that you've freed a Scrab." She patiently waited for an answer from both.
