You're misunderstanding me. I'm not making claims about what sort of person you are, and I'm not debating whether a certain act is wrong or not. Also, I don't mean this to be inflammatory in any way, though I know that it probably is. I honestly don't believe that you, or anyone that I have ever met, actually believe that god is real. I think that you think you do. I'm not calling you a liar.
I'm going to speak to Kastere's comment for a moment.
That is not what The Bible is. It is not some subjective shit built around treating people properly. It contains that occasionally, but it is a very, very small aspect of the book. However, this has become the way that it's seen. More and more, people are taking those parts of the book and running with them, leaving everything else in the dust.
Let me be clear about something. This makes me very, very happy. I am so unbelievably happy that people have negated most of this book, and latched unto the parts that make some semblance of sense in modern society. This doesn't change the fact that I don't believe that these people really believe in god, though.
