I'm plenty religious. Spiritual might be more accurate, though. I was raised Catholic, but I think to strap yourself down to one belief (or Non-Belief) is reductive for a ride through life. I suppose I could say that I believe
every god is real. That Yahweh and The Christian God and Allah are just some sort of omniscient pan dimensional drinking buddies is silly, but nobody can honestly say it's incorrect.
Being raised Catholic, I don't follow every word of the Bible because it's practically
two thousand fucking years old. Things change, and I doubt that God ever really cared if Jews ate Bacon or people were circumcised. I think that yes, he does watch us, and yes, he doesn't want us wandering around raping and murdering, but to come down here and say "No. Spilling your seed is okay, and nothing wrong with gays, either." Would confirm our beliefs and make having faith (which is what powers him because he's also a robot powered by brain waves) unnecessary.
These debates are always so fucking stupid because everything is relative and interpretations of any religious text are totally subjective and hardcore Christians and Athiests are almost always bafflingly obnoxious.
