I've never experienced this problem, although I didn't have time to check right now.
I will, however, point out that it would be helpful to know what browser, theme etc. you're using.

I use Internet Explorer 8 but i also have Firefox Intalled but i don't use it often.
Not really a problem anymore though because Advanced Search works fine. thanks for the help
