What program are you using?
A worker class Slig isn't a good model to start with, I'm still working my way up to it and I've been doing 3D for a few years now. Better to start with something simpler or man-made, I'd go for a Snoozer but thats just me

For this model, Sligs are symmetrical so you only have to model one side then flip it over, which'll save you a lot of time. It's kinda hard to tell from the pic but it looks like there's only 4 tentacles and there should be 5 arranged in an inverted V shape.
Sorry if that sounds negative, it really is just that the worker Slig's not a good one to start with
