MW was an overblown sack of shit that is pulling First person shooters into 'realism' which is fucking stupid. Gears of War is kind of doing the same thing, but GoW is so ridiculously over the top and retarded that it's okay.

EXACTLY!! The only time FPS games are realistic is when you're playing them online otherwise they're all the same thing "one person single-handedly takes out hundreds of enemies while completing objectives" so I only play FPS games with fantasy elements like: aliens, plasmids, and ridiculous weapons that don't exist in real life. Why does COD insist on masquerading as something it's not? COD is a typical FPS IMO.
