I've read quotes from him stating that the government should find ways to increase their populations health and happiness, and lessen their attempts to line everyone's pockets.
He just doesn't seem that bad to me.

That is clearly just something he has said to make people think "Jesus Christ, that sounds great! Let's vote for him!". The man's an utter tit, and I don't trust a word that is regurgitated through his smarmy little mouth.
