Your not bad by all means, but obviosuly there is quite a bit to work on. Maybe if you added some tone to your drawings that would really give them some depth. For example, that slig drawing in photoshop. I've only just started to get used to photoshop painting etc, but if you change the opacity and keep redrawing over the areas which you want to get more dark etc that could help. By all means, if your going for a more block colour character thats fine. I don't know if you use a graphics tablet because that would obviously make it much easier for shading on photoshop and adding detail.
