That was close... Dementa thought as she sat perched in the tree, still clunching her side. If she wasn't cursed she would have stayed put and possibly let the slig help her. But she was cursed...and if he was to touch her via skin to skin he would end up doubling over in pain, so she wanted to keep that from happening.
Still...she was starting to feel guilty about following him, by now the slig must be a nervious wreck wondering who was following him and why.
With a sigh she decided to speak out.
"Sorry...I was acting on reflex." she said in a non-threatening tone as she jumped down. She landed with cat-like grace in front of him, but winced in pain as that act made her injury act up....
