Sorry for the long delay but I got a really short chapter.

Chapter 5: Lost…
Mochy sniffed at the brisk morning air that was tarnished with an incoming fog, Slusk had just waked up and checked his location on the map. However, it never occurred to him that he didn’t where he was headed. All he wanted to do is get as far as he can from that wretched slog hut. Redge had also realized this problem and never asked Slusk until this moment.
“Uhhh, Slusk? Where are we even going?” Redge asked tilting his head slightly.
“I dunno Redge. I just want to get away from those sligs hounding us day and night…” Slusk said staring at the ground.
Mochy yelped when he heard a distant screech, most likely a paramite. The trio headed for a long path through the mountains that were located just north of the town and the fog was setting in. Slusk squinted at one of the peaks and saw buggery movement. If he ran into any paramites, they will be sorry. The team then hurried into the mountains at a moderate pace.
Meanwhile, Jasper and his team had just picked up the escapee’s trail and ran into a fog. Jasper kicked a stone in frustration and stared into the fog. Slusk will rue the day he murdered his closest brother… And he will pay dearly…
The trio had just finished climbing the first set of mountains and saw it was much clearer higher in the mountains than in the valley. But it had its risks, Paramites crawled everywhere and the trio had narrowly missed a pack of them storming through the mountain path. Redge had to stop occasionally to oil his hinges, he had been traveling to the point his pants were straining to move. Slusk then noticed they were in the same spot where they saw the paramite swarm.
“We’re hopelessly lost…” Slsuk said with a tone of regret.
“Tell me about it” Redge said rolling his eyes mentally.
“How about we rest here until the fog disappears?” Slsuk suggested.
“Alright,” Redge replied.
The team then set camp and settled in for the night.

Chapter 6: Jasper’s Wrath
Next morning, Jasper awakened to a clear morning and grinned. Today he will start his hunt and kill Slusk for his crime… and that double crossing son of a clakker Redge. He awakened his men and started the trip immediately. The sligs jogged at a high speed across the mountain range and discovered remnants of a fire made last night… they weren’t far. He holstered his laser carbine to investigate the ashes; they were damp from the mist. He saw some slog scat and foot prints. They were here alright. Jasper and his men continued their run across the mountain range…
Meanwhile Slusk’s crew finally got to the opposite base of the mountain and saw desert as far as the eye could see. Several plateaus were set on the horizon and the desert was peppered with cacti and fern like shrubs. Slusk bit his lip and considered turning back but saw sligs running down the mountain slopes. Slsuk drew his newly acquired Blitz Packer shot one of the sligs in its midsection. The slig screamed and rolled down the rocky slope while being trampled by the other sligs. Redge rolled to his right and took cover behind a rock with Mochy and Slusk found another rock to the left. Redge shot several sligs, blood splattered on the mountain’s slope. A slig recognized as Jasper narrowly missed a volley of laser and Blitz Packer he countered with several shots the splintered the rocks below him. Slusk was pelted with the splintered rock and returned fire on a slig fairly close to his rock and its head blew inside out. Slusk was coated in blood when the slig’s brain exploded. Redge threw a knife into another slig’s neck and a scream of pure pain rewarded Redge’s minor sacrifice. Several sligs held refuge behind rocks on top of the mountain and started pouring lead and laser on the rocks Redge and Slusk were hiding behind. Redge was shot in the shoulder and grasped his wound and hissed in pain. Blood started to gush from his wound. Slusk saw this and an anger he never knew he possessed swelled up inside him like a bolamite bite and jumped out from hiding and ran towards to enemy group shooting madly and waving his machete like a lunatic. The sligs turned fire on Slusk but were startled when he was half way up the slopes and decapitated a slig’s head from his torso. Slusk blew out two other slig brains and bashed anothers head rendering him unconscious. Jasper tried ramming him with the butt of his carbine but Slusk smacked it out of his hands and slashed him in his midsection. Jasper staggered back and fell smashing his head on a rock causing him to fall unconscious. The other sligs were either dead or unconscious. Redge stared at Slusk and Mochy joined. Slusk dropped his weapons and stared at the bloody wreck he caused. Bodies lay in mangled positions and missing limbs. Slusk fell to his knees in exhaustion. He was now free from the hounding enemy that hunted him. A free mud.
