Yeah it sure is,
I remember being amazed as a little kid by the artwork, at that time I thought it was all hand painted (Later I found out it was 3D). I wanted to draw because of oddworld, its the reason I became a concept artist / Illustrator!

Same for me, i used to copy characters from the manual. I think 0ddworld had a major influence in my interest for Art, it's probably the reason i'm going on to study Game Art and Design at uni.
