this is what i posted earlier:
:
I was raised(more like forced, but I wont go into that) as a Roman Catholic, but I don't follow it. Basically, I DO believe in higher life forms watching over us (something like the 'Q' from Star Trek). To me, all religions are basically the same...they were created by village elders and the like to help explain why things are in the world. I don't really believe one enity created the Earth just like that..(ok I believe in the Big Bang theory), but rather many such entities 'assisted' in making the universe as it is today, and still are (again, kind of like the 'Q').

Now continueing where i left off..
These entities would ocassionally make themselves known to the lower life forms, and the lower life forms would see them as gods. Now their reason for this varies, whether its to guide them to a better life, or because they have a big chip on their shoulder..
*offside* Stafonos: I HEARD THAT!
feh, whatever. Anyway, on to the evolvotion bit. In the bible it said it said that there were just Adam and Eve, now i have trouble believing just two ppl existed in the beinging that are responible for the whole world population of humans, unless you included Lileth but I still have trouble with it. Talk about inbreeding! No to me envolution had to take place. Humans and the other animals can't just 'appear' out of thin air. Not even my character Staros has the ability to create a living being out of nothing just like that (and he is the most powerful of my god-like characters). Like I said, I believe higher life forms 'guided' the evolution of the human race from its simplest form to what they are today.
Back to the Bible (sorry for jumping around), I do believe it is nothing but a collection of stories written by early humans trying to figure out how and why things are (this is mainly the old testament im talking about..). I'm not saying the whole thing is bogus, as every story is based on at least a little bit of fact.
Example: Moses and the burning bush. the bush burning and it surviving unharm a miricule right? wrong. It was a miricule to those who witnessed it back during that time(moses), but in recent times, sciencists discovered a bush, which, when it became hot enough, burst into flames due to its flamible sap. I think it had to do with it being a low temp fire or something like that (it was a while ago I heard of this), but when the flames died, the bush was unharmed. Act of god? no, Act of nature (good old mother nature making us scratch are head in puzzlement

).
um...oh boy did I ramble. Um...if this didn't make any sense just boop me on the head, ignore me, and i'll shut up...*looks back at what she wrote* i think i confused myself...eep. Anyway, I'm not attacking anyone here, just stating my beliefs and the little bit of fact that I know..
