Though such accusations aren't totally frivolous, I think at least 50% of those who have something against Californians are simply jealous of them. California is a pretty damn beautiful state and I would love to live there. I doubt there's many more kooks there than most anywhere else in the US.
I think people need to learn there's a difference between "California" and "Hollywood".

Those typical California-grown do tend to be conditioned toward living life in the fast lane. It all comes with it's drawbacks. In California, it's pretty much, "If ya got it, flaunt it."
