Because Adam and Eve brought sin into the world.You needed to sacrifice lambs. Because they represent purity.And blood represented life. Priest had sacrifice the blood. But since we are under the New testiment, and Jesus was the mighty sacrifice, God does'nt kill you or anything. He just deals with you when you die, that's all
