History: Uzbuk was bought... purchased... well,
acquired by a Wolvark trainer when he was merely old. They say you can't teach an old Slog new tricks but he seemed to understand that eating people's legs meant he got no dinner... er, well, no second helping anyway. He appreciated the concept that if he jumped through that hoop he got a lump of meat, and if he stood on his back legs he got a lump of meat. The bit about barking a tune was a little more complicated but he figured out eventually that if he did it right he got a lump of meat.
Amazingly, after such a long time of doing tricks, he still hasn't learnt to enjoy it. It's been said, however, that his temperament has improved a lot since his first show, which his trainer agreed with - heck, the entire audience lived last time. However his trainer died not so long ago and now he's on his own. After weeks of barely surviving in the wilds - er, well, after weeks of the
wilds barely surviving, anyway - he's come upon Boss Hoss's mining town, and as he knows, things with two legs = food. Double helpings, in fact.
