A train pulled into Rupture Farms' station and two vykkers disembarked.
"It's been a long time since I did any business with this place," Emlech murmured, "Do you know the way to the glukkon's office?"
Krik nodded and pointed a claw, "Through that door and straight down the corridor, on the left somewhere."
Emlech nodded, "I suppose you'll want to go in search of your experiment then."
Krik nodded and glanced over his shoulder.
"Relax," Emlech told him scornfully, no one knows you came with me."
Krik shrugged, "You spend enough time being followed, you get used to watching your back. I'm sick of being watched; I'll be glad when this day is done. Don't tell Arnie I'm here."
"Please. Would I do anything so stupid? Anyway, I'm not going to delay; I need to find Anni as soon as possible and get out of here."
Krik nodded, "Good luck. I'll meet you back here in two hours then?"
"Better make it three."
Krik grinned, "Good; all the more time to enjoy the day's labours."
Emlech rolled his eyes and left the station. He headed down the corridor as instructed until he found himself outside of the boss's office. He knocked on the door and waited.

Krik meanwhile made his way down to the cafeteria, as it tended to be a popular place for loafers, and if Dionysia wasn't there, someone who knew where to find her might be.

Jim looked relieved to see Anni and hurried towards her, "Anni!"
Anni looked up from her watering at Jim's shout. She smiled at him, "Hey, is everything ok?"
"Yeah," He replied, "We just wanted to make sure you were ok since you didn't come back to work. What happened with the native?" He tried to smile, hoping the answer wouldn't be along the lines of 'I helped him infiltrate the factory and showed him the way to the main boilers'.
She grinned conspiratorially, "I saw him, and he was getting chased by sligs so I helped him hide in the basement, but a slig saw us together. I don't know if he would recognise me, but I thought I should come back to work so it wouldn't look so suspicious."
