You can get trial versions of PaintShop Pro and Photoshop, which is probably a good place to start. Go to

I also offered to make banners for anyone before the forums crashed. I think I was going to make banners for FreakyLA and Lantra (sorry guys)... but with the forum problems it got put on hold.
