None of these are my "local". I dislike the pubs geographically near where I live, so I mostly venture out with friends to their locals.
This is the Toxteth Hotel. They do lovely pub grub which is well worth the somewhat expensive price. This is my most frequented pub.
This is the Bank Hotel in Newtown. I'm an on and off regular. Used to visit it a low more a few years back when one of my best friends lived around the corner. It's known for its homosexual clientele.
This is Star City Casino, another regular. We go there when we're poor for the inexpensive good tasting food and booze. Oh, and to gamble a little. On Good Friday it is the only licenced venue allowed to server alcohol - it gets
packed.
This would have to be the
seediest and
sleaziest pub/club in all of Sydney. Completely gay, you go there to dance, fuck in the toilets, and get kicked out
