I maybe totally off here, but I thought MW2 for the pc was just a port of the console versions with the addition of mouse support

If I remember right, the servers are REALLY bad on PC, or something.
I tried the Chime Demo. It's...well, I don't even fucking know. They don't explain how you're supposed to do
anything apart from make 'quads'.
It's neat, and fun to watch, but I have no idea what I'm doing.
