binaural beats aren't focused on the music , it's the frequencies that do all the effect , and even some just sound like complete noise and still relax me.
and if it was my will , how come that when i meditate doesn't feel the same?
and no i would never believe metal is relaxing , infact it's my favorite type of music cause it's kinda fires u up.
The point of the placebo effect is it's subconcious. You are convinced the music helps, so much that you emulate the supposed effects. You don't notice the effects are unrelated to the music until it's too late and you have made the connection, making it harder to achieve the effects without them. It's sort of like Pavlovian Conditioning, except your own conviction is one of the stimuli.

However, the music itself is quite relaxing. Are sure it's not just that rather than magical frequencies?
