10: Jak 2 (PS2)
Good platformer. Poorly executed Krimzon Guard alerts ruined it. Being out of vision achieves little, as a guy will spawn around the corner (you can see on your map) and run to you ruining your hiding spot.
9: Klanoa 2: Lunatea's Veil. (PS2)
Haven't played in a few years, but I remember it being quite fun.
8: Red Alert (PC)
I've always loved the way this RTS plays.
7: Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition. (PC)
The level design is puzzling, and the bosses are bitches. The enemies inflict the right amount of damage to keep you above your toes (higher than on them)
6: Oddworld: Abes Oddyssee/Exodduss.
They win the atmosphere awards.
5: Metal Gear Solid 4
What isn't to like? Stealth is a lot funner than I thought.
4: Okami
I fell in love with the unusual graphical style. The brush powers were a brilliant mechanic that was executed perfectly, in my opinion.
3: Quake 3
Best multiplayer shooter. Intense action.
2: Kingdom Hearts
The most brilliant real-time battle engine ever, which I've only recently started to appreciate fully (not spam X)
1: Jade cocoon 2
Amazing battle engine, easily over 100 hours play time and way too much replay value. Did I mention monster raising?
