Can we get back on topic while we're still fairly civil?
Just looked up the death toll. Over 50,000 dead. For a natural disaster to cause that many deaths in one go is terrible.

This, the level of irreverence in this topic disgusts me.
I'm going to finish reading up on this when I get the chance. Unfortunately I have no money to give but I'll make sure to tell as many people who may not know about this as possible. I mean, I didn't know about this.
