10, Final Fantasy VI (III) - Game Boy Advance/Playstation (Played on both)
9, Super Smash Bros. Melee - Gamecube
8, Metroid Prime - Gamecube
7, Silent Hill 2 - Playstation 2
6, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem - Gamecube
5, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - Playstation 2
- Almost certainly the most visually impressive and adrenaline filled adventure game I've ever played. It kicks seven kinds of ass over the sequels and the Tower of Dawn segment remains one of the most beautiful and flowing scenes I have ever played. Definitely one to get.
4, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorny: Trials and Tribulations - DS
-Probably one of the most tightly plotted game narratives I've seen, and I play a lot of games for the storyline. The way the first, fourth and final case interlink is incredibly well done and the sheer amount of plot threads the final case manages to tie up is amazing. Hell, I'd buy it for the final case, it's just that good.
3, ICO - Playstation 2
-I had this game for seven days and completed it in three, so why is it on my list? Because it's one of the most breathtaking and amazing experiences I have ever had in a game. Everything is just so huge and gorgeous and atmospheric. I can't do it justice by just talking about it. If there's anyone on this forum who hasn't played this and is given the opportunity then go for it.
2, Pokemon Silver - Game Boy
-Well what can I say? The first Pokemon (Indeed the first hand-held) game I ever played and by far my favourite because of the updated roster, the inclusion of the region from G1 and the mass of improved systems. Also Suicune. I loved this to bits for over four years and managed to catch every pokemon as yet available. Seriously a classic.
1, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - N64
-This is my favourite game, and objectively one of the best games I have ever played. Criminally overlooked compared to it's predecessor and very deep and intricate, another one I finished 100%. The sheer amount of sidequests make for an intensely enjoyable and long lasting game, and fuck me do you feel powerful after you get your game breaking reward for all that effort.
Now you!
