When I was in the sixth form at school, someone managed to put Unreal Tournament onto the school computers. You had to be given a special shortcut to access it. The Head of IT let us keep it because he had bet us that if we managed to get a game onto the new network we could keep it, so long as we only played for half and hour at lunchtime before the room opened up for study.
I cycled through a number of self-depreciating nicknames before settling on Bullet Magnet. It stuck ever since.
I am considering getting a new handle for any potentially professional endeavours, but I don't think I would change it here. The initials are too familiar now.

First off, your Head of IT sounds positively unemployed compared to the scrupulousness of mine. Though we never had anything as fancy as UT.
