The PlayStation versions are the original. The PC versions are the ports.

I meant for "old PC versions" to mean the old PC ports and not the recent digital ones.
Actually, I've been playing the PS1 games for years and found the differences on the Steam versions quite a shock compared to what I was used to. I wonder why they "turbo"d up the game for the PC version?
