The last time I went to the theatre to watch a production was to London to see Starlight Express. It's such a wonderful production; I've seen it about five times now, and I'm still not bored of it!

My dad is an actor at the Mary Wallace theatre and is a huge Shakespeare fan, so he goes to the theatre to act quite a lot. He is currently rehearsing for 'King Lear', which the theatre is going to perform in a few weeks. Every year, the Mary Wallace puts on a production in the grounds of York House gardens. The gardens are very beautiful, and the evenings are always a success. York House gardens are almost right next to my school, and sometimes when the weather is nice I go there after school and admire all the pretty flowers and the historical architecture, or sometimes I just sunbathe on the huge lawn outside York House!
I sometimes go along with my dad to his rehearsals, but only because he's also the bar manager as well as an actor, and so I get free Coke and Bombay mix!
