Welcome aboard Conzumah.
Actually when Mario, (Cellda), I mean Zelda, Mario carts, Thornado, Too human,Metroid, all get here I'll be into those games for the Gamecube. When a few of the PS2 titles get here I'll spend time with the top notch ones of those. All the systems provide people with what it's all really about fun and entertainment. Options, with all the systems you get to choose only the best of whatever game you want for whatever machine.
I'm neutral, I don't care what machine the game is on, it's the game that counts. However with XBOX and with all my hands on experience I know that the XBOX is a real GEM. I know of the potential it has to supply me with the best games posible due to it power. With this power we get higher level everything. From graphics to sound to high levels of poly counts, great draw distances, intense lighting ,very high level of A.I.,vast levels of expansive sets. It just provides soooo much,it just is the best system out there. Sure the PS2 and Gamecube are very nice, anyone that knocks them are either dense or a person with no real knowledge of games what so ever. If possible have them all. If one is your only option, well give it a good thought and choose. But for my money if I had to choose only one it would be XBOX, hands down.
I can safely say that 20 or more games coming in the second half of 2002 for the XBOX will be as good or better than the top 3 this Launch and throughtout the Fall. I've seen them, playtested them, gone over concepts, had discussions with dev's of so many companies and know already what's in store. Good times, that's what.
Here is some news I have for you from the TGS in Japan, tons more to come.
Sega has announced that it is creating the sequel to Shenmue and an online version of Phantasy Star Online for the Xbox console and promises that both titles will push the envelope in terms of technical excellence. The Sega-AM2 team is developing Shenmue II while the Sonic Team will be developing the networked RPG game, Phantasy Star Online. Phantasy Star Online (working title) for Xbox will provide content that will be a major factor in Microsoft's broadband network strategy.
``In addition to the numerous Xbox game titles previously released by Sega, the significance of major titles such as 'Shenmue II' and 'Phantasy Star Online (working title)' being added to the lineup is just enormous. Gamers will have the opportunity to enjoy masterpieces by world-renowned Yu Suzuki and Yuji Naka through the powerful graphics, sound and broadband network capabilities of Xbox.
Well keep talking XBOX here, and did you know that i'll be hopping and rolling and jumping around with Abe and Munch in just 34 more days. Well maybe in 32, I may just be getting my BOX a couple days sooner.
