Actually the game will be all new. Elements of MGS 2 on PS2 and added all new game sequences will be on XBOX. How exactly it will be put together is still hush hush. The word will get leaked at TGS this Weekend. I'll get whatever there actually is beyond rumor and let anyone here know.
One thing for sure however is that when asked about MGS on The BOX Kojima the main man for MGS and MGS2 stated in an interview that in no way will the XBOX version be in anyway shape or form the original MGS. He laughed it off and said that that was 5 year old technolgy and when on the BOX it will get behind the power of the XBOX.
Once MGS2 comes out for the PS2, you will see the floodgates open on MGS news for the XBOX.
