I didn't ask for anything this year, as I have for the past several years. There is nothing I want that I can reasonably expect to get, and not for because of price or difficulty of acquisition.

Why the hell would someone give you jeans for a christmas present?
I mean, gift voucher for clothes, maybe if they're unimaginative, but to actually go out and buy the item of clothing that is most difficult to choose and fit... craziness.

I frequently get jeans for birthdays and Christmas, just in time to replace the previous year's which will have been worn to bits due to near-continuous use. They fit me fine, but perhaps I am used to wearing clothes that don't fit. Since unwittingly and unnecessarily losing weight it has become difficult to find clothes in this nation of expanding waistlines. Thank Odd for belts is all I can say (and penknives for drilling more buckle holes!).
