I'm getting myself take out from Subway for christmas, something I get
maybe once a year.
I can't tell if that was a shameless ploy to make us feel sorry for you, or if you just never find the time to hit up Subway with any frequency. Either way, it seems really out of place in this thread.

As for me? I have an annoying tendency to never remember what I want when I write a gift list. This year was no different in that I wrote a list of forced, far-fetched gift ideas for things I don't really need, and didn't remember all the things I actually wanted until the list was already distributed to friends/family. I remembered a second too late I wanted quite a few videogames this year; BrĂ¼tal Legend, Arkham Asylum, Ghostbusters VG, etc. *sighs*

Instead I asked for a few movies I've been meaning to get, namely City of Lost Children and Delicatessen, two amazing films by french director Jean-Pierre Juinet. Some art prints/books, custom-printed shirts, and some loose cash to make up for the things I don't trust people purchasing for me. Seriously, one of the best gifts I can get from a relative is a hundski or a gift-card credited at a generous amount to BestBuy. I stopped trusting them with getting me actual gifts a long time ago.

To be mushy for a minute, I got the best christmas gift of all not just yesterday; Nikki.
