Before someone said anything, a slig managed to enter the room. He lowered his gun and spoke to one of the Mudokon.

"Everything is under control. This mudokon (he looked at Mars) has escaped from the detention area. He found himself in this room with these two others employees (designating Hembar and Anni). The previous Vykker who used this lab left quite a mess behind him so they must have been send to clean everything up. Anyway, no reinforcements are required at the moment. I was about and I'm going to taze the fugitive so he won't go anywhere but in the cage he belongs to."

He aimed his gun at Mars chest and winked (sort of) at him without the slig noticing it. He shot a sticky tazer bullet at the Mudokon. He set the intensity low enough to be harmless. He hoped the Mudokon would understand his plan and would fake the electrocution.
