Here it goes then. But I will wrap it in spoiler text.
Zaypher has a double, who died in the explosion, and took the place of the real Zaypher who supposedly died in the other explosion, but didn't really, and has now met up with Admeet, full of amnesia and believes that he really did betray Admeet, which he heard from the sligs plotting against Admeet. Wanted to make it up to Admeet, whom he belives he was brainwashed to try and kill, he's helping Admeet now, and happened to be in the base that Admeet blew up. Far fetched idea, but very interesting if I do say so myself.
