If you kill them all in AO you get infinite grenades, AFAIK.

Really? I looked at the walkthroughs but couldn't find an ending for killing them all in AO, only in AE. Do you get a different ending too? So far I know the endings as:
Rescue 1-49 Mudokons --> Bad ending (it's funny, watch it!)
Rescue 50-98 Mudokons --> Good ending
Rescue 99 Mudokons --> Good ending + Bonus movie gallery
