Be sure to keep the
Creepy Crawlers thing clean, it has a tendency to get very messy if left unkempt. The "plasti-goop", if I recall, is very oily in nature and will remain wet for an eternity if it isn't cleaned up.
I remember there was this special set of
Creepy Crawlers that came with wire armatures to put in the mold so your creatures could bend. Dunno if that's still around, but it's worth a look.
BTW, the toy was so popular it had it's own spin-off cartoon show. The show was not nearly
as popular.
