I finished it, but I didn't really understand what was going on or what it was supposed to represent.

what turned me off so early was the writing style. it was like he couldn't be arsed to describe what was going on, and if he did, he actually seemed to get moody about it, as if we, the readers, were bugging him by reading it.
that was a fucking stupid explanation. i'll just say the style wasn't to my taste.
