True.
The last film I saw was
Paranormal Activity, which wasn't in 3D, and would be pretty damn underwhelming if it was. Before that was
Wild Things, which was damned decent (though I will admit before I actually thought about the metaphors, I didn't like it
as much), before that was
9 and
Zombieland, both of which were pretty mediocre.
So yeah, there's usually a grace period of at least a month before each half-decent film. Depends on how cut-throat of a critic you are, I spose. I have certain expectations of certain filmmakers.
