I'm not getting involved in debate, as I only get pissed off at everyone and everything and will end up going home to curl up on my bed and gibber about wars and death and horrible things like that...

The only thing I'd like to say is that I watched Bush's statement last night (I try to avoid watching the news, these days - I know it's pathetic, but it only makes me depressed and I get stupid feelings when I'm depressed) and I actually physically cringed at some of the things he said. Now, I don't care much for Bush, but as we're stuck with him there's not a lot we can do about it, but... (oh Ford, now I'm going to sound all anti-American. I'll apologise at this point here) When he said "God bless America"... All very nice, and it's nice to believe in something (my brain won't believe in anything, no matter how much I want to believe in something) but it just seems to play on the stereotypes... I mean, one of my Uni coursemates kind-of hates americans because of the whole "God loves America, and screw the rest of ya!" philosophy that seems to be one of the stereotypes doing the rounds...

See, I said I'd sound anti-American. *mutters* I'm not anti- anyone, really - just anti-evil-people.

Oh, and anti-Britney-and-cheerleaders. (sorry, that just slipped out.)
