when a thread is moved to Necrum, all the posts you made in that thread will no longer be counted in your post count, so your post count will decrease. i spose its for really spammy/trolly threads to show the members that participated that 'they haven't gained anything.' whereas if its just locked, the post count remains the same.
then again i really cant understand the desire for a high post count. i really cant.

... I even missed my my 2000 milestone.. I was a hundred or so posts above and I was like "Oh.." ... Yea.. Post count never meant anything to me, and I don't see the big appeal. it just means you're a spammer, or have been here for a very long time.
