Flad followed alongside the group to the entrance of Dek's Lab keeping his gun pointed at Mars. Borso went to Tok's aid and carried him away. Grace entered first and said: "No vykkers in here." The group then entered the lab.

After they entered Anni spoke "The cages are through that door." Grace just grunted and walked into the cell room, the group followed. "Right, stick it in one of the cages," Grace ordered to the Muds. As the Mudokons started to place Mars in a cage Flad started to speak. "I'm glad that's all over, a bit too much excitement for me." Flad looked at the radio he left attached to his pants and picked it up. "I better take this back to the security office, I shouldn't have anymore use for it. I think i've got the hang of this floor so I should be able to make my own way. See you lot later." Before he left he noticed another Mud in a different cage (Rick). "Heh, looks like the native won't get lonely anyway," he said.

Flad left the Lab and began walking to the Security Office. "I'd better check on Tok when i'm done. That other guy took him up a floor I think."
